Requirements and Responsibilities:

Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in planning and execution of multiple projects with multiple disciplines, combination of fit-out works, electrical & mechanical work, IT works and may include construction works.

  • Assist in preparing tender document, tender drawings and contracts. Submit Tender Analysis and recommendations to management for review and approval.

  • To work closely with external consultants and specialists - Architects, Interior designers, E&M designers, quantity surveyors, other specialists and also including contractors, vendors and suppliers.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years working experience from a 5-star hotel or large commercial building/shopping mall in a similar capacity.

Education:

  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical, or other rated discipline.

  • Candidates with Trade certificates and solid experience will also be considered.

Skills / Competencies:

  • Able to read, write and speak English, candidates who have good command in spoken and written of Chinese and/or Cantonese will definitely be added advantage.

  • Excellence technical knowledge of Project Cycle, from concept to completion.

  • Possess a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect understated assumptions and resolve interpersonal conflicts

  • Able to manage risk from uncertainty and to reduce risk by adhering to a policy of open communication, ensuring that every significant participant has an opportunity to express opinions and concerns.

  • Excellence working knowledge in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, to organize their tasks and workforce, review and reports. Also able to use drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Visio in producing drawings.

  • Working knowledge in PC skills and use of all MS Office applications, including outlook and power point presentation.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of staffs, contractors, suppliers and vendors.

  • Hand-on and possess good problem-solving skills and attending to details.

  • Good health, physically fit and excellence in personal grooming and presentation.
