Document Controller

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the established ISO document control system and programs 
  • Ensure that project information is accurate, controlled, transmitted, and archived for optimized tracking and retrieval.
  • Responsible for providing day-to-day document control activities for projects and company 
  • Ensuring that project information is organized and is according to company, and project requirements.
  • Work closely with other Project Team and counterparts from Client to expedite and ensure documentation runs smoothly
  • Helping sales engineer / project manager / design engineer for preparation of submittal. 
  • Submission of submittals / documents as per project specific procedure. 
  • Distribute the commented / approved document to concerned person / agency for further action. 
  • Maintain the document with proper revision number in project specific folder. 
  • Regular updating of ‘document list’ and distribute.
  • Ensure the proper documentation and help on ISO audit.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma and Degree
  • 1-2 years experience in Project Document Control preferred.
  • Knowledge and basic skill in MS Office Application

 

HR and Admin Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company policies and practices are in compliance with local employment related ordinances
  • To handle work permit, visa and insurance matters 
  • Administrate and maintain all staff personnel information
  • Manage the monthly payroll, insurance, social securities.
  • Coordinate with HQ office in the implementations of HR policies, and make necessary amendments to ensure such policies are in alignment with local employment law.
  • Assist in travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Maintain a proper filing/database system for easy retrieval and accurate documentation to facilitate information flow.
  • Replenish stationery, copying paper and other office supplies items, and maintain office equipment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Business Administration or related disciplines.

Account Executive / Junior Accountant

Responsibilities: 

  • Handle full set of financial accounting (AP, AR & GL) duties.
  • Provide accurate and timely report to HQ and local management.
  • Maintain an effective accounting system and records that are in compliance with accepted accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Liaising with internal / external auditors, Tax agent, bankers, and statutory boards.
  • Cash management including cash flow planning and bank reconciliation
  • Ensure the company policy and procedure comply with SOX & internal control requirement
  • Any ad hoc task

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma in Accountancy with 3 years working experience.
  • Candidates with audit and construction accounting experience will be an advantage.
  • Good communicate skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Familiar with QuickBooks accounting software will be an advantage.

Supervisor

Responsibilities: 

  • Planning , Supervising and coordinating site activities
  • Co-ordinate site work with various department and subcontractor 
  • Ensure that progress of works are within schedule 
  • Ensure safe construction practice and quality of work 
  • Preparation of procedures for scope of work/maintenance. 
  • Perform all risk assessment for jobs done on site
  • Routine meeting and report management 
  • Able to interpret electrical drawings
  • Failure management, troubleshooting and continues improvement
  • Managing of Foreman/Electricians/workers at work site
  • Troubleshoot equipment problem and manage daily maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • Technical Trade Certificate in electrical / mechanical installation (Theory & Practical)
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in electrical / mechanical installation works in construction site
  • Candidate with rolling stock experience is preferable
  • Proficient in English, task-oriented, able to deliver work under tight deadlines and a team player
  • Able to work under minimum supervision and pro-active in getting work completed

 

Planner

Responsibilities: 

  • Project planner work with project Manager to oversee and direct a projects progression they ensure that project are completed within the determined time frame, within the constraints of the budget, and with sufficient staffing.
     

Work Activities:

  • Coordinating with the project manager, construction manager and other discipline engineers for reporting and scheduling for the project.
  • Plan and schedule the project by developing a project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera software.
  • Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly/report with respect to review of the overall project.
  • Coordinating with the project manager ,commercial manager, engineering manager ,construction manager and other discipline engineers for progress updates
  • Preparing extension of time claims, weekly and monthly report to be submitted to the client.
  • Progress monitoring of specific projects on a regular basis. Anticipate and resolve any problems. Prepare and maintain package work plans and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.
     

Required Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in planning for projects 
  • Primavera course version P6 or later version.
     

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.

Project Engineer

Responsibilities: 

  • A Project Engineer will coordinate project elements and oversee project team and contractors to ensure that project are complete according to project plans and schedules. A Project Engineer responsible discipline electrical engineer for the project team and responsible to maintain professional competency through continuing education. Act as the overall coordinator for all internal and external engineering on projects as required. 
     

Work Activities:

  • Liaise with consultant and main-contractor on project matters to ensure to smooth execution of site work.
  • Attend regular site meetings with client/contractors/sub-cons on the project related maters
  • Develop electrical distribution systems for large industrial applications and plans these systems using recognized industry standards and specifications
  • Review and check all assigned project electrical installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (One-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.
  • Liaison with suppliers and sub-subcontractors for arrangement of materials, equipment, tools and other sub-contracting work activities. 
  • Designing of Typical installation drawings for installation works and ‘As-built’ drawings after work completion.
  • Completing all assigned tasks as delegated by the Project Manager or Senior Management.
  • Coordination of internal and external engineering activities and the interdisciplinary interfaces in close coordination with the discipline team leaders.
  • Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.
  • Preparation and submission of Inspection requests with relevant design, drawing and necessary attachments upon completion or works.
  • Develop technical bid tabulation to support the selection of major electrical equipment.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements.
  • Ensuring all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
  • To ensure the works done are according to the project scope and to prepare documents for Variation Order(VO)if any works are outside of the scope of work
  • Performing site survey to advise the installation team and equipment location in order to ensure that the project standards are adhere to.
  • Assist with project QA/QC and commissioning systems and documentation.
  • Prepare project estimates, budget, schedules and execution plans.
  • Preparing all the necessary reports and documents required for the work activities and coordinate with different parties for smooth workflow.
  • Provide full support as required by the Management and Project team
     

Required Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering(Electrical)/Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience in Construction industry with construction and project coordination experience 
  • Minimum 2 Years’ experience in Electrical fields.
  • Candidate with rolling stock experience is preferable.

Project Manager

Job Summary:

  • Project manager responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of project. Manage the work of contractors, vendor, suppliers and employees. Promotes environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety.
     

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring entire construction progress
  • Prepare project quality plan
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting.
  • Oversee per-con meeting to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field.
  • Manage progress claim, reports, ensure resources, assure materials
  • Assure suitability of procedures, methods, systems & instruments
  • Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
  • Manage all jobs closeout procedures 
  • Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns.
  • Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments 
  • Handle major issues of works
  • Maintain relationship with all parties related in field activities 
  • Monitor cost, QA/QC, safety/security, health/environment and loss prevention  
  • Source, negotiate and procure materials (installation)and equipment from the vendors, if require
  • Planning and management of project-including developing job schedule, identify and mobilize resources.
  • Ensure claiming for variations or additional works are being carried out.
  • Plan and manage daily site/project activities
  • Draft and execute project schedule that is developed based on Master schedule’s requirement
  • Coordinate with main contractor one the location of site office, site store and erection area.
  • Ensure that the site staffs comply with the relevant rules and regulation at site, including wearing of personal proactive equipment(PPE)
  • Liaise with client to solve project issues.
  • To liaise with consultant, Owner or Contractors in all matters related to the projects.
  • Ensure that current version of the specifications-e.g. Code of Practice; Singapore standards are accessible at the point of use.
  • In consultation with the appropriate manager, recruit, interview and select staff and /or volunteers with appropriate skills for the project activities 
  • Manage project staff and /or volunteers according to the established policies.
  • Ensure that personnel files are properly maintained and kept confidential
  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis(monthly/bimonthly)
  • Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date 
  • Prepare and forward monthly report to Project Management on the following:
  1. Work & progress claim
  2. Material usage status
  3. Work activities program
  4. Project issues 
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
     

Required Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Standing in Electrical
  • Senior Level Electrical Engineer With 8-10 years of electrical engineering work experience 
  • Minimum 5  Years successful electrical PM experience 
  • Candidate with relevant rolling stock experience is preferable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deal tactfully and efficiently at all levels of the organization

Safety Manager

Job responsibilities:

  • The primary role of the Safety Manager is responsibility for all workplace safety and health and welfare matters to ensure the Company complies with its statutory obligations and update the Safety Manual.
  • Understand the application of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, other subsidiary legislations client’s in-house rules and regulations relevant to the Companies business.
  • Keep up to date changes in current and new legislation.
  • Attend such courses/seminars run by external sources or government agencies to enable accurate interpretation of legislation to enable implementation within the organisation.
  • Ensure that all “Risk assessments” as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.
  • Ensure that all “Safe Work Procedures” as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.
  • To recommend control measures and advise on the standard of P.P.E. issued to employees.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the company’s operations.
  • Immediately contact the PM responsible for health and safety if situations are found, require immediate rectification or the stopping of any operation.
  • To notify the PM for health and safety if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the arranged date.
  • To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
  • To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance.
  • To bring new techniques for improving health, safety and welfare to the attention of the PM responsible for health and safety.
  • To set a personal example by wearing appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observing all safety requirements/procedures. 
  • Conduct weekly safety meeting with sub-contractors and all project teams
  • Conduct Monthly Safety committee meeting with attendance of sub-contractors and project management team.
  • Attend weekly and monthly safety meeting arrange by clients
