Sales Coordinator
Major responsibilities
Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
Assist the Opening Team during pre-opening period in all upcoming tasks within Sales & Marketing but also beyond.
To ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Macau’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care.
Adhere to the established meeting and conference sales administration, client history and tracing system within the Sales & Marketing Department.
Provide customers with prompt service to fulfill their need within our operational capabilities.
Ensure Banquet Event Order details are finalized and distribute to all departments concerned.
Responsible for an organized filing system.
Generate reports when requested and within the specified time period.
Responsible for providing and typing seating plan, place cards and menus required for banquet functions.
Remain updated on catering menus, set-ups, services, capacities and product knowledge within hotel as well as the specific hotel’s competitive set.
Promptly share leads on corporate FIT and travel trade business with relevant members of the Corporate & Travel sales team.
Promptly pass leads on regional and/or international business to the respective RSOs.
Update accounts and contact profiles in the Fidelio / Delphi Sales & Catering system.
Attend and participate in sales and business development meetings as required.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head.
Coordinator

Provides administrative support to the Executive Housekeeper and flexibility to assist all Housekeeping departments as needed to ensure a smooth running of the Housekeeping Department.
Answers telephones, sends faxes and composes all types of business correspondence.
Maintains the office correspondence in a proper and sequential order at all times.
Prepares presentations and other documentations required for the Housekeeping Department.
Orders and controls office supplies when necessary.
Coordinates with all colleagues to ensure an efficient flow of communication to and from the administration office.
To ensure that the Fire Life Health Safety and Security company standards and HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the MOHG health and safety audit.

Demi Chef de Partie
To be responsible for supervising the assigned station within the Kitchen.
To ensures that his/her station is managed efficiently and according to the established concept statements.
To supervise the Cook I/II/III and the assigned kitchen Trainees.
To ensure that the Fire Life Health Safety and Security company standards and HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the MOHG health and safety audit.
Organize food production in a cost effective and hygienic manner.
Prepare menu in accordance with quality, availability and seasonality ingredients and ensure market lists are completed on a daily and weekly basis.
Constantly strive to improve operating procedures.
To perform opening and closing procedures established for the assigned station.
Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of the operation of the assigned work station that will benefit our guests.
Identify opportunities for reducing costs without affecting the level of service or product received by our guests.
Use the Colleague Handbook in understanding the consistent way of Communicating Rules & Regulation to our Team.
Controls the effort of superior Cleanness throughout the assigned work station.
Control all efforts that our entire superior Save and Sound codes are in place at all times.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Chef de Cuisine from time to time.
