About the Business
Our Business Tax practice delivers comprehensive and innovative tax services to clients using a collaborative and practical approach. We help businesses meet their tax and statutory responsibilities while identifying planning opportunities and mitigating unwarranted risks. We also utilize technology to help manage the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' tax operations and turn compliance data into insights that deliver real business value and strategic advantage to client organizations.
Work you'll do
Develops knowledge of current tax legislation across the Global Tax and Business Advisory function
Recognizes the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the client
Collects, assimilates, and analyzes data and uses standard processes and tools to help surface and support solutions in the Tax and Business Advisory business
Applies basic technical knowledge at various stages of the project lifecycle, including researching and preparing draft client reports and advice
Conducts research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions in which clients operate
Researches and prepares draft client reports under the guidance of senior staff and project management
Prepares tax provisions using technical skills to accurately complete calculations and follow Firm policies and procedures
Develops a basic understanding of relevant tax authority procedures and applying basic technical knowledge when researching and preparing draft tax audit/appeals reports

We are looking for someone with
Bachelor degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, law or other related disciplines
Professional accounting qualification or registered tax agent or lawyer is required
Minimum of 1 year of relevant tax experience with CPA firms (Big 4 experience is preferred), law firms, tax authorities or large corporation
In-depth understanding of tax policies, rules and regulations
Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
Strong consultation skills, communication skills, self-initiation, teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure
Be mature, proactive, committed, motivated with strong sense of teamwork
Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
Willingness to travel is a must
Associate - Control Assurance - Macau
About the Business
Deloitte’s Assurance business leverages our professional accounting, risk and controls and corporate reporting expertise to deliver assurance and related advisory services on both financial and non-financial information.
Control Assurance is focused on Control related advisory services, including risk assessment, Internal Audit, IPO Control Readiness, Financial Control Testing, Data Governance and Internal Controls / Finance /Digital Transformation with technology tools and assets. Through this we help clients to build resilience, confidence and trust in their systems, processes and internal controls.
Work you'll do
Focus on providing management consulting services to Macau Government, Integrated Tourism and Leisure industry, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, and other large organizations in the areas of risk identification and risk assessment, control testing and identify the findings and provide recommendations on remediation, data governance and control, data management framework assessment, regulatory compliance reporting, and data entry into financial statements.
Support clients in digital transformation initiatives with expertise in data management, data applications, and data algorithm research.
Research on market information, analyze the information and data, study market size and macro and micro environment, set out strategic position and draft reporting.
Effective organization and full exchange of internal and external information resources based on customer needs to ensure high quality delivery of projects.
Assist project managers/AIC to effectively manage customer resources and follow business opportunities.

We are looking for someone with
University graduates or above in Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business, or other related disciplines
1-3 years of relevant working experience (experience in global consulting firms, Big 4, or large enterprise is preferred).
Must be a Macau ID card holder
Prior project experience in the financial services industry (FSI)—such as banking, or securities—is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of FSI regulatory environments and data reporting requirements.
Ability to build and apply a strong knowledge of methodologies, frameworks, processes, assets, and tools to develop and implement effective data-driven solutions.
Good planning and organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese
Willing to travel as needed.
