Assistant Store Manager, Macau

JOB PURPOSE

Supporting the Store Manager to drive category performance with supervision of sales team to ensure great customer experiences. Driving sales goal attainment and providing real-time performance coaching to drive the overall Burberry Experience and Burberry Behaviours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead sales associates to improve overall selling skills and close sales in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs

  • Work to drive sales for an assigned category including partnering with the Store Manager on sell-through, team training on assigned category

  • Lead a high performing customer facing and service orientated team. Coach and provide feedback to the team as necessary to ensure all customers serviced in the store are given the full Burberry Experience in line with brand strategies

  • Manage the customer flow to ensure the best possible service and that no client is left unattended. Set the pace and standard to deliver excellent service to customers

  • Drive partnership on the selling floor between sales associates, specialists, stock and operations team

  • Coach “in the moment” and after every transaction and client interaction, reach out to associates to talk through the successes and opportunities and ensure proper follow-through on follow up actions

  • Working closely with the Store Manager to develop and retain talented employees, by recognising and rewarding performance through monthly development plans and annual performance reviews

  • Lead the integration of new joiners to the business

  • Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary

  • Partner with Store Manager and Training to take ownership of Burberry Experience training within the store. Use morning and weekly meetings to constantly reinforce key elements of the Burberry Experience through role-play, providing tips and talking through difficulties of individual associates.

  • Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary.

  • In absence of store management, responsible for processing post-void transactions, authorising promotional discounts and employee sales

  • Drive the digital experience in store and use digital resources to communicate whenever face-to-face is not possible.

  • Hold a good understanding of the business and effectively communicate needs and ideas to bring the business to next level

  • Possess a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and consistently follow and enforce company guidelines on operations

  • Create and maintain an open, positive and harmonious work environment

  • Assist with the opening and closing of store which includes securing doors, windows and merchandise, successful alarming of store and POS procedures

  • Additional duties as required.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Advanced knowledge of POS system

  • Ability to handle complex customer service issues; (i.e. dissatisfied customers, complaints, returns, repairs & after-sales)

  • Able to use a fluent and professional dialogue with clients and staffs

  • Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfortable with the use of digital tools

  • 1-2 years previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To be a member of the on-shift team or back office team to operate CEM power network from importation, generation, transmission and distribution in terms of safety, security, reliability and cost effectiveness

  • To resolve all incidents or contingency issues that is related to CEM power network by using available resources, necessary tools and measures

  • To rectify power importation, generation, transmission and distribution issues to meet customer demand with best economic consideration

  • To prepare and publish daily network operational reports and generation forecast plan to stakeholders in a timely manner

  • To take proper measures to minimize power disturbance and to resume power network system back to stable as fast as possible and duly keep relevant stakeholders informed

  • To schedule, approve and execute all planned, urgent outages or operations in generation and power network under normal or disturbed situations and duly keep relevant stakeholders informed

  • To execute any necessary and proper power network operations according to network analysis and ensure these operations are performed in accordance with established safety rules and procedures

  • To have direct communication with customer for handling outage, enquiries and complaints

Requirements

  • Qualification

    • Bachelor degree or above in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, preferably in Power Engineering major

    • Holder of Macau Registered Engineer Certificate is an advantage

  • Computer Literacy

    • Proficient in MS Office 365 and Chinese Word Processing

    • Knowledge in power system simulation software and/or computing programming is preferred

  • Language Skills

    • Proficient in Chinese and English writing

    • Proficient in spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin

  • Others

    • Work experience in power system or related area, particularly in Dispatch or Transmission and Distribution area would be an advantage

    • Being independent, responsible, self-motivated, attentive to details, multi-tasking, hardworking and with high team dynamics

    • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and report writing skills

    • Able to work under pressure and solve problems in a calm and decisive manner

    • Possesses valid Macau driving license of light vehicle and Occupational Safety Card

  • Responsible for maintenance and alternation of building facilities maintenance in Primary Substation

  • Investigate, analyze the defects of building facilities in Primary Substation and carry-out improvement actions

  • Inspect, coordinate, monitor and supervise in-house and outsourced maintenance and repair of the building facilities

  • Ensure building facilities are in compliance with relevant regulations, codes and standards

  • Review the specification, design, material submission, monitor the installation, testing, commissioning of building services works (HVAC, Fire Services, Water Supply, Drainage, Electrical, Lift) for the construction of Primary Substation

Requirements

  • Qualification

    • Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management or related disciplines

    • Holder of Macau Registered Engineer Certificate is an advantage

    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction and maintenance of building facilities

    • Possesses practical experience in Project Management

  • Computer Literacy

    • Proficient in Auto-CAD, Office 365 and Chinese Word Processing are mandatory

  • To provide technical support for determining the design requirements for secondary equipment according to HV substation conditions of Macau

  • To provide technical support for (1) the analysis of the failure rate of secondary equipment in HV substation; (2) the analysis and review the design proposal of secondary equipment including diagram, setting, etc.; (3) holding the training for secondary equipment in HV substation

  • To analyze the failure data of the secondary equipment in HV substation and review the related maintenance criteria

Requirements

  • Qualification
